The lively 689cc CP2 engine with A&S clutch provides torque-rich acceleration for a truly exciting riding experience on the track. The super narrow and aerodynamic bodywork features an aggressive face and the sharp tail and deeply sculpted tank are shaped by pure R-Series DNA. The R7’s high specification brakes and suspension give optimum controllability when cornering and braking.
The frontal area of the R7 is the smallest of the R-Series models, and ensures the highest levels of aerodynamic efficiency – while clip-on handlebars, rear sets and a bump-stop seat give you a racing riding position. This outstanding next generation Supersport makes R/World a reality for thrill-seeking riders like you – whether you’re riding on the track or out on the road.

The R7 GYTR TKRP Race kit is a package for the more advanced trackday rider or starting racers. This package contains everything from the GYTR kit and much more! Highlights in this package are the Öhlins front fork cartridge, a STX 46 racing rear shock absorber and the Akrapovic full racing exhaust system. The stock suspension on the R7 is good, but will be one of the first things a more advanced rider wants to change. The fully adjustable high-end Öhlins suspension in this package will definitely make you feel like you are on rails! With the newest generation GYTR Akrapovic exhaust system you will have some more performance but also the noise regulations are no problem for you. The front brake calipers are the same as on the YZF-R6 and well tested by 2 times World Supersport champion Dominique Agerter, this in combination with the new Brembo master cylinder you can brake as late as possible. All parts in this package together make a bike that is ready to win your local championship!
The R7 GYTR Trackday package is a very interesting package for those who want to compete in the official Yamaha R7 cup competition or just want to enjoy their trackdays without having to worry about anything. There are no problems with noise regulations and the engine does not nearly need as much service as an upgraded engine. Just take it off the trailer, put on your tyre warmers and enjoy your time on track!
