Product description
SBS 966DS-2 Dual Sinter racing front brake pad set (for quick change front wheel system) YZF-R6 & YZF-R1
Dual sinter (DS-2 compound) racing front brake pad set from SBS.
This brakepad set is specially designed to be used with the the quick change / flag to flag wheel change system for the front wheel. Because of the slightly lower height of the brake pad, it enables you to turn the fork legs outside without having to dismount the calipers. The 966 type brake pad is only being used for the inner side of the caliper, the outside of the caliper uses the normal 634 type. Therefore you should (only in case of flag-to-flag system) order one set of 966 and one set of 634 in order to have 4 correct brake pads. Both types are available in DS-1 and DS-2 compounds, which enables you to find the perfect brake feel for yourself!
-The choice of numerous World Champions in Superbike, Supersport, Moto2 and Endurance. Also used by Ten Kate Racing Yamaha combined with DS-1.
-High-tech sintered compound available for racing & standard brake systems used in racing
-With a smooth initial bite and progressive in-stop performance
-A combination (left and right) of the two compounds (DS-1 and DS-2) makes fine tuning of braking performance possible. Some riders like this a lot!
-NUCAP NRS technology secures mechanical bonding.
This brake pad set can be used for the following models:
