Get the most out of your GripOne traction control system, by installing this IMU module.
The IMU gives the ECU exact information on the position of the bike, so the traction control, wheelie control and launch control can be adjusted to it. By using this IMU module with the GripOne traction control system, every 0.005 seconds the IMU sends out an update on the position of the bike to the ECU. The ECU then adjusts the traction control in real time, which ensures traction exactly when it's needed.
The position of the IMU is very important, as it's not working correctly when the positioning is not right. When possible, it's best to put the IMU in the front of the bike and exactly in the middle (so not left or right). There are two arrows on the IMU, one pointing to the Z-axis and one pointing to the Y-axis. The Y-arrow must point in the direction of the motion of the bike, and as horizontal as possible. The Z-arrow should be pointing to the ground and as upright as possible.
